Spring 2021 Season Registration

Pinole Hercules Little League (PHLL) will open 2021 spring season registration after Christmas for Teeball league age 4-7, Softball league age 7-12, and Baseball league age 7-14.

Players will be placed on a team by order of registration as there may be limited number of teams due to availability of fields.

Little League has age and residency eligibility requirements for registering players.  Please see information and links below on Divisions and League Age and Residency Documentation for Eligibility to Play.

Players will be required to provide their own bat, batting helmet, and fielder glove. Please see resource information and links below on bats, batting helmet, and fielder glove. PHLL will provide each player a jersey and hat.

Divisions and League Age

Little League structures its divisions to allow children to participate in various divisions based on their league age.

Divisions of Little League Baseball® is based on the player’s age as of August 31 of the current year.

Divisions of Little League Softball® will use January 1 as its Age Determination Date.

Residency Documentation for Eligibility to Play

A parent or legal guardian of a potential Little Leaguer are required to provide a minimum of three personal documents that are used to establish the residency of the child.

Players are eligible to play only if they reside, or the physical location of the school where they attend classes is, within the boundaries including but not limited to Crockett, El Sobrante, Hercules, Pinole, Rodeo, Tara Hills, parts of Richmond and San Pablo.

Residency shall be established and supported by documents containing the full residence which includes parent(s) or court-appointed guardian(s) name, street address, city, state, and zip code information, dated or in force between February 1 of the previous year and February 1 of the current year.

Baseball and Softball Bat

Baseball - the bat must be a baseball bat which meets the USA Baseball Bat standard (USABat) as adopted by Little League.

Softball - the bat must be a softball bat which meets Little League specifications and standards as noted in bat rules.

Batting Helmet

The batting helmets must be affixed with the NOCSAE symbol, be free of cracks or other visible damage, and all the internal padding must not be missing, tattered, torn, or frayed. No stickers are permitted on the helmets, unless there is a letter of certification from the helmet manufacturer affirming the stickers are permitted to be affixed to the helmet.
