The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) released updated guidance February 19, 2021 for youth and recreational adult sports. Under the guidance, baseball and softball may resume with modifications in counties with case rates at or below 14 per 100,000.
Due to the nature and risk of transmission while participating, teams must provide information regarding risk to all parents/guardians of minors participating and each parent shall sign an informed consent indicating their understanding and acknowledgment of the risks.
The status of return-to-competition is subject to change at any time given the level of COVID-19 transmission in California.
The PHLL Board of Directors has developed COVID-19 safety policies and protocols to resume activities in the lowest risk environment possible.
Pinole Hercules Little League (PHLL) resumption of baseball and softball activity on Ellerhorst fields is planning to begin Saturday, April 3, 2021 contingent upon approval from West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD).

Volunteers are needed to coach teams and PHLL registration is open now for players and coaches at: Spring 2021 Registration, Teeball league age 4-7, Softball league age 7-12, and Baseball league age 7-14. Players will be placed on a team by order of registration as there may be limited number of teams due to availability of fields.
